This little dress was one of my first creations. I haven't worn it since my birthday dinner at BJ's. (Don't make fun. It was a school night and they accommodate large groups.) My etsy store is going really well! I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised. I've had orders from 3 continents, which is more/less impressive when you realize I've sold only 4 skirts. One of my skirts was featured on one of my favorite blogs last week! Thanks to Danni at ohhellofriend! Other grateful shout outs go to Jeremy Hong for his continual technical advice with etsy and paypal. That boy knows the biz! And as always thank you to my darling Ashley for her technical and creative support. It's so nice to have a creative outlet, to share it with others and have them respond so positively. Love to you all!
With the "cold" weather of late I've abandoned my beautiful wheel for the machine I sew with. I miss the feel and pull of the clay. Rain rain go away come. Soon the sun will come to stay. Happy weekend!
Recycling? Puh-lease! Do I look like I drink Coke? Upcycling has made thrifting even more fun! This dress was huge, had icky sleeves and a boring layered skirt. Snip off the sleaves, tie up some bustles, take in the bodice... New fave.
